LADY ADA LOVELACE:
Lady Ada Lovelace, born in 1815 as Countess Augusta Ada King-Noel of Lovelace was an engineer who is credited with helping in the invention of the first computing machine, called the Analytical Engine. A self-described "metaphysician" and "poetical scientist", Ada Lovelace was a brilliant mathematician who created the first computer program. Her life's work was not only innovative in it's own right, but profoundly fundamental in the technological advancements we enjoy today.
