ANNE FRANK:
Annelies Marie Frank, born June 12th, 1929, was a young German Jewish writer who's chronicles depict a harrowing first-person experience of the Holocaust. When the Nazis invaded the Netherlands in 1940, Anne and her family attempted evacuated to the United States, but were unsuccessful. In 1942, they went into hiding until they were discovered 2 years later, when the family was put into separate concentration camps. Anne Frank and her sister Margot died in Auschwitz from undetermined causes in 1945.
